Not something I want to happen as a regular dog walker in the area it will be one area that I will sadly avoid if I have to pay to park

Newlands Corner has been part of my life for over 50 years. It is the place I go to see unspoilt countryside, to which I take visitors to see an aspect of Surrey which they could not imagine still exists.
If it becomes ‘infested’ with parking meters and other man-made constructions, it will lose its natural appeal.
